I really like Light Hearted myself. I’m hard pressed to think of a “low cal” beer with better flavor.

 

Larry's Last is delicious. Might have to grab another 4 pack, if possible.

It reminds me of an easier-drinking Expedition; less harsh, more welcoming, but still with a ton of flavor or presence.

Agreed. Two Hearted is the archetype. It’s hard to compare the original to the imitators.

 

Anyone else pick up the Box O' Hearts? Thought Black Hearted totally delivered and as a lover of the style I'm glad I could finally try that one. Curious what others think of Cold Hearted.

 

I picked up singles of all 4...freshest Two Hearted I've seen in a long time!

Cold Hearted was very enjoyable; it had an odd, light peanut butter note to it that's probably more about my upcoming stroke than anything in the beer, but I found it very flavorful & unique.

Full disclosure: I'm not the biggest black IPA fan in the world, but I thought Black Hearted was well done. Roasty, hoppy and that's about it. Simple and effective.

I'm having a Light Hearted now, and I must say it's pretty damn good for a low-cal, 3.7 a.b.v. beer. I'm sure you could do a lot worse!

 

Based on description I thought Cold Hearted would be my favorite of the bunch but I found it to be somewhat like cat piss. I've never had any other Cold IPA so no idea what I should have expected if anything different.

 

Anyone have info on BA Expo in the Twin Cities? Seems like it should be out in retail by now.

 

March 1st, and still plenty of BA Choc Exp at the general store. Also Orange Hearted, which was not included in the Box of Hearts pack. Grabbed one in a mix 6 and looking forward to trying it,

 

Yes my dad picked some up for me, also tried the new Kviek IPA which was pretty good

 

I also picked up the the Kviek IPA in my mix-6. Looking forward to trying that one…

 

Using the Bell’s beer finder it appeared to reach Wisconsin’s western border a couple months ago. It no longer shows up even there and I’ve never managed to show any results west of there in the occasional times I’ve remembered to check.

Looks like Vanilla Black Note this Thursday. Not sure why they don’t just release regular BN. It’s been years now.

 

According to the social media post picture, it's 2019 Vanilla Black Note. So it's been years for it too.
