I've also seen it in 12-packs, and like you, I couldn't pull the trigger either. I still have one last LOTL that will hold me for a while. (Too many hoppy beers in the way, plus I want to keep that last can for a special occasion.)

Anyone see Bell's is airing a 15 second commercial on Peacock? The beginning of the downfall? :grimacing:

Kirin | Lion is definately spending big bucks on Bell's. I have photographs of two large billboards (one of which is on a building on the NW corner of Belmont & Cicero) advertising Two Hearted IPA.
But do not take my word for it. Go to Tokyo, Japan and notice how both Bell's and New Belgium are appearing at not just Japanese craft beer bars, but also izekayas where craft beer have heretofore never been on offer.

Sorry if this has been discussed, but re: the new “best by” date on Two Hearted, do we know how far from canning that is?

    I believe it’s six months.

I managed to score some Sideyard, bottled 9/28, and the shelf life is listed as three months on that beauty of a fresh hopped ale.

Bell's was doing billboards around the Midwest when Larry was still in the industry. Just a larger spend now.

2 Hearted has always been 6 month shelf life. I don’t think that will change

For those waiting for the release of Third Coast Old Ale this year, don't hold your breath. Seems they are not releasing it this season per their comments on social media.

And I think we just discovered why Bells isn’t making more this year. Give it more time to clear out existing stock on shelves.

When I originally started a beer horde - er, I mean cellar, Expo and 3rd Coast were two beers I vowed to grab every year. I slipped on that and haven't grabbed either for years. I find myself regretting that since Bell's got sold as I'm afraid one or both of them will eventually get cut or even worse reformulated. I think a day is coming where extinct or newly limited OG type beers will be the most sought after by new traders who never got to have them during their mass production and/or pre sellout years.

Just some of my navelgazing deep thoughts on the subject.

The last batch of Third Coast I picked up had a slick new redesigned label. It made me wonder if anything else had changed. I’m a fan of the old, classic designs and branding—much like Sierra Nevada’s artistic look—and especially appreciated that touch of class they brought to my experience as a young beer drinker.

OK. I'm just going to say it and if I get flamed here, then flame on.

I have wondered if Bells changed the formula to Expedition after they produced Expedition 35 I really enjoyed 35 as it definitely was Expedition but not quite so roasty/hoppy when fresh.

Again, maybe it's just me, but it sure seems like Expedition has not been as roasty/hoppy since Expedition 35.

Like I said I slipped on my promises I made to myself so I can't answer regarding Expo, but can say the last batch of Third Coast was tasting pretty damn solid to me. Also cracked my last 2015 bottle of Third Coast not too long ago and damn that beer ages as well as Bigfoot does.

And thanks for the reminder to crack my annual 35th Anny Expo.

Can't answer your question either but the BA 35th that was recently released is, IMO, the best BA beer that Bell's has bottled.
