Pulled up a few beers from the cellar a couple weeks ago. A few haven't been very good but the '07 Expedition Stout (batch #7817 - Feb. 1st 2007 - almost 8yrs old) held up very well. A little oxidation in the nose (but not bad) along with some faint chocolate and molasses. Carbonation is light, mouthfeel is great. Tastes of dry cocoa and dark molasses. Faint tart hints of fig, plum and cherry hiding in the background with an almost imperceptible buttery touch at the end. Starts strong and sweet with a very dry finish. Not bad at all....glad I put a bunch of different years of this away. Don't hesitate to cellar this one. YMMV

I've tried to "cellar" Expy a few times with no success. It's so good fresh. ISO '07 Expy
