Just call the store! They're open now. I would imagine there's some left.

Plus tax which brought it to $48.95. Nitpicky.. I know. Gotta make sure $4$ is perfect for those FIBs trading bottles!

    Definitely kidding. No hate intended.

Does anyone know if these were in barrels for longer and just bottled recently, or bottled into 750's on the previous release and cellared by Bell's? Thought the previous release was 12 oz bottles, but maybe im wrong. Anyone in the know, let us know! Cheers!

It is my understanding that it was cellared by Bell's.

I think it was aged for 6-8 months and then cellared until now. It's 2012's batch so...

They still have plenty in the store. There were ~20 bottles in the cooler as of 2pm and the guys at the counter said they had "cases" left in the backroom.

Not at all. If you look at the 750ml releases, all of them have been a solid 4-6 days in the store.

I'm a little confused. Some bottles have a "10/15/12 PKGD" and also "K11600" stamped on them. Others have the "Bottle No. X of 1718" and "Batch No. 11600" written in with pen. Obviously the same batch, but why would they only include the bottled date on one and omit the bottle number on the other? Could they be bottled at different times?

I prefer drinking my Metropolitan Lagers, but I throw a Pipeworks into the mixed every once in awhile.

Edit: I also love my Two Hearted Ale.

Just didn't care for it at all, very cough syrupy in my opinion. I like most Bells beers but the Cherry Stout did nothing for me. Perhaps the BA version would change my mind if this thread is any indication. Not trying to hate, just putting my opinion out there.

As stated above, some labels were printed and some were written. All are the same beer.

Son of a *****!!! I jumped on Bell's beer bus to Wrigley Field yesterday to see the Cubbies play the Yankees. The bus took off at 9:00AM so I couldn't get in Bell's General Store then. I figured I would be able to stop by the store when we returned but those doggone Cubs pissed away a 2-0 lead in the ninth inning. The game ended up going 13 innings and the bus returned well after the 9:00PM store close. It's bad enough they lost that game but they screwed me out of those two bottles as well.

I would 'Like' your post, but I don't want to show approval over your bad luck. Bummer!

Does anyone know if this is still available today? I didn't think it would last as long as it has. I'm going to be head to Grand Rapids tonight from Detroit, if it's still at the brewery, what's an extra hour to the trip? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
