Picked up 9 sixers on Thursday and my wife grabbed me another 4. I should be HopSlammed for awhile! Very good this year!

Just cracked open a fresh can of this year's. Its a sweet mess. Totally unbalanced in its sweetness. Used to love this beer. I believe my palate had changed heavily over the past couple years. Im convinced that if a brewery canned cat urine once a year, overcharged for it and limited its distro, there'd be lines of buyers too.

The can is proving to be great, but the tap bears a bit less bitterness and a bit more juicy sweetness.

Passed it over. Had the past few years but I've found better brews for cheaper. I mean, is it finally good enough to warrant a $20 and some change price tag this year?

Glad I have some waiting for me when we get back to IL in April. Oh, it'll be "nasty" since it'll be "too old" by then...yeah, right. :stuck_out_tongue:

It is awesome this year; less honey more hops than the last time I had it (few years ago). 8 days in the can, so super fresh.

My first year having it thanks to a generous ba and I thought it was pretty great. I could see where time could destroy this beer. The honey and hops play so damned nice together.

I pass every year due to the $20-24 six pack price. If I was in love with HS ok but I'm not. I do buy a glass on tap if I see it but more than $5 for a 10oz pour and I keep moving on.

    Call me cheap, it's ok

    Enjoy

Still not worth the price. It's good for a 10% IPA, but not $18+ a six pack good.
