Just passed on a case for $89. If that's the price here this year I bet six packs are $25. My money is better spent. Suplication was only $140.

    Enjoy

Still a better buy than some bombers.....but still quite expensive for a beer that there are probably many equals to these days....

Wow this beer sure has gotten crazy! I don't even think I had a single on last year and the year before that I got a growler for 18 bucks and pounded it to myself giving me a wicked bad hangover.

I remember years ago (3 possibly) I found it in the mix six section for 10.99 at a six pack shop that is now closed. Would have gotten some more but I paid 64 plus tax to get a case already from McBrooms.

May not find any this year if the hype is as massive as everyone says...

For anyone in the northville/Plymouth area of michigan, the busch's at 5 and Sheldon has some in the back. You just have to ask. $16/6 pack. If they sell out of that they said they'll have a new shipment available on Thursday around 2 pm.

Would like to get a six of Hopslam cans if I could get some easily nearby in NY. Haven't had any in three years.

Respect for Bells! Planet series, 6 pack format, priced well for high quality brew! I support them all day with my wallet. Hopslam is tasting great too.

That Busches has a nice selection, but come on man, most stores in town, I've seen cases stacked 20-30 deep. Why put it in back? Oh for the special customers at a grocery store! This store last year would not sell KBS unless you bought $50 in groceries! That's complete bullshit, I found plentyKBS elsewhere.

My impression is they weren't holding it in the back to be discriminatory. They had pallets of it out on Wednesday morning for anyone to buy. I think they just hadn't gotten around to restocking it from the back. But I could be wrong.

Haven't seen it yet in Sarasota area either. Got some last year at total wine. Enjoying this year's Hi-Res myself that I just bought and it's the best year yet for it, excellent stuff. Last year was meh. Hopefully we get another crack at the old HS down in FL this year. I'm looking forward to it!

If you're in NoVA, probably next month thanks to Hop and Wine. It sucks we don't get this beer when it's super fresh, especially when it goes for ~$24/sixer. If I remember correctly, it was about a month old when it hit shelves last year, which is fine, I'm not that big of a snob but for such a hyped release, it should be getting to market a little faster.

I'm in the Newport News area. Hopefully this years canned version will make it hold up a little longer. Thanks for the info!

Probably one of the terrible suburban Binnys. They keep everything in back and always run limits. It's a joke.

I'm pretty sure that Hop and Wine sold their rights south of Richmond (I was asking about this in the South Atlantic forum). It sucked Hop and Wine took a month to get this out last year. They took like 3 weeks longer than most places on KBS too, if memory serves. But at least that was sort of predictable - just knew every Bell's/Founders etc. release like the Planets would hit VA a month after they started showing up elsewhere. Now that it's not Hop and Wine though, who knows. Uncharted territory on this one. I've been assured it's coming, but how much and when seems anyone's guess. Hope that helps in some way!
