Hopslam is a great beer, as has been mentioned well balanced (love the honey). In a 12 oz can and a 10% IPA, not much competition especially when fresh :stuck_out_tongue:

This year I have only had Hop Bullet. Definitely a keeper. And $10.49 for a 6 - 12oz bottles, that alone might make me appreciate it over the (IMO) overpriced HopSlam.

Wait, people hate Hopslam now? Lol! More for me, then!

I haven't bought any yet. I've been broke af the past few weeks. If I can still find some by this weekend/early next week I'm definitely buying some, though. The last two years' batches were wonderful and I can't wait to try it again.

Just had two cans yesterday. This years version is a bit better than last years. Not as bitter, and is sweeter.

Yes, I was able to score 2 packs in SoCal. It’s crazy how some liquor stores are trying to sell it in single cans.

Me and a buddy just took care of a five liter mini. Excellent beer. First time having it.

I was tempted yesterday, but this is what it cost at the cheap spot round these parts. I passed.

Yep. But I did get some Sixpoint Hi Res for a more reasonable price that's hitting the spot.

Unfortunately craft beer prices can sometimes (often?) be out of whack with the rest of the country for some weird reason (other than taxes).

    Non-cheers to this Hopslam price!!:slight_frown:

P.S. My local Retail Beer Distributor's price is 25 bucks (before sales tax) for a 6-pack of Hopslam

I had to buy a case this year even though it was 60 bucks, but it was better than I remember it being in the past. Still a really good beer with the flavors melding perfectly

$20 around here at some places but has come down over the last couple years at a few places....found it for $18.99 last year and $16.99 this year.

It's good but I wouldn't pay more than $20 considering all of the other good DIPA out there.

I had Hopslam for the first time via trade the other day. Only tried one can thus far so need to revisit but first impressions were that it's a well crafted beer, but nothing that stands out anymore. Pretty "smooth" for 10% probably tasted closer to 8.5%. Definitely comparative to Hi-Res from sixpoint. Might do a side by side. I remember Hi-Res feeling boozier.

Wow those prices you guys are posting are ridiculous.

Had one on draft the other night. Really enjoyed it and thought that it was a lot more balanced than last year, but it also could be that I got them later in the season last year so it may not have been as fresh.

Split a case with a pal, got it six days from can date, had my last one at three weeks old. Def expensive but really good this year. Also shared a few with folks that never had it and they were impressed.

Can't believe the hype on this beer.. I finally had one over the weekend and it's absolutely the most over-rated beer I've ever had. Not a hop "slam" by any stretch, but rather a malt bomb and I don't think the honey does that any favors. Glad I had one though, so I know never to get one again.. Cheers!
