This may be wrong info but I thought that Bell's usually sent a batch of Hopslam out in January and then a second batch(different bottle date) was sent out in February. Is this usually the case or was i Dreaming.. The reason I ask is my local store says that Bell's isn't shipping out anymore hopslam this year.. I hope this is not true as I want more. But can anyone confirm that Hopslam is done being shipped out?

Can you confirm that? I asked my store guy twice and he said his Distributor told him No more hopslam is being released this year.. Is he being lied to?

I remember at least two waves last year.

I've heard from two places that there won't be a second wave, but hopefully they're wrong, because I would certainly like another sixer.

I've heard the same thing. Only one wave is expected this year.

I'm under the impression that there MIGHT be a second wave. Indiana has already gotten what we got last year.

There have already been at least two batches brewed (two separate bottling dates). Most years there will be bottle dates through March. Bell's did say they are brewing more so I would expect another wave. Where that wave is distributed may be a different question.

We got 2 waves already. One big, followed by one about 20% the size of the first.

They have a big brewery addiiton that could have allowed them to make a much bigger batch of Hopslam and release it all at once. Or maybe they have a few more 400 barrel fermenters full. They can do what is needed to make more beer.

I've seen it show up at a few new places recently but still had the 1/3/13 bottle date

They'd be nuts not to produce as much of that liquid gold as possible!

FWIW, the only sixer I've scored (from one of the places that said they aren't getting anymore) has a 1/10/13 bottle date.

I had a bad feeling I'd get called out on that, I was going off memory w/ the 1/3/13 but it very well could have been 1/10/13.

    I hate you

What really sucks is we only sorta get FFF, and that's brewed in our own state.

    I have seen 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, and 1/15.

    Any others?
