Bell's has just had a bunch of keg ring labels approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. There were lot's of interesting things approved. It was the CBS keg ring approval that let the cat out of the bag with the CBS release. I have no way of knowing if these are actually being brewed and released as kegs but here are the beers that had keg ring labels approved last month. Does anyone have any info? TC WHISKEY BARREL EXPEDITION STOUT TC WHISKEY BARREL CHERRY THIRD COAST OLD w/cherries BATCH 1,000 BATCH 1,500 BATCH 2,000 BATCH 3,000 BATCH 4,000 BATCH 5,000

But isn't Batch 2000 about 10 years old (and the lower numbers even older)? I guess it's possible that they would still have them, but it would really surprise me.
Bell's has a huge party this summer to celebrate is birthday...that's where you will find most of not all of these beers. They brewed new batches of the "batch series" for this. Know one of the brewers that worked on this project.
Thanks, I was head scratching thinking what sort of event these were brewed for and could not come up with anyting. Totally spaced on the Birthday Party. Wow, that party will be something!!!!
I can't find TC WHISKEY BARREL CHERRY THIRD COAST OLD w/cherries by searching, where did you find that one? The most recent listed for Bell's is CRAZY BREWER BEER on 3/9, any ideas what this could be?
The TC Whiskey barrel Cherry TCOA is the same one that has been at the brewery and other places before I'm guessing.
Yeah, they had that at MBG Summer Fest last year. I was a little disappointed - not cause it wasn't good, but the regular TCOA is one my favorite Bell's beers (and the most underrated, IMHO), so I think I had unrealistic expectations.
I really liked that one but the 2010 BBA TCOA was amazeballs. It tasted almost exactly like 2009 North Coast Old Ale cellar reserve which is one of my all time favorite beers
It is going to be a lottery after the sign up IIRC. So all the people saying they will never buy Bell's again increases the odds for you and I.
If I recall, batch 2X and 3X were around 1992 or 1993? Dan Kiplinger, brewer at Old Peninsula was one of the specialty brewers there at the time and I believe brewed the starter batch for both of these - and that was the time that he was there.
