Bell's Mars in NC

    Has anyone heard if Mars -- or any of the Planets series -- is going to make it down here? The few places I've asked either don't know, or haven't even heard of the beer/series.

    I've heard along the same lines, "I don't know." to "huh, what's the Planet series?" I had my friend in Kzoo send me a sixer; it's really enjoyable for a 10% IIPA.

    I tried to have my friend get me some but he drank it all :slight_frown:. I'm gonna at least have my parents send me some of The Oracle.

    Oracle is drinkin' mighty nice right now; it's one of my favorites from them.

    Bottled 8/8, I used to live 10 minutes from Bells, it was easy for my buddy to walk over there and get himself a case :wink:

    we have some shipping out in SC tomorrow and next week. Extremely limited amount- but then again, our whole state, population wise, is the size of Charlotte.

    I'm in Chapel Hill, just starting grad school at UNC. I've been trying to scope out the local beers around here, but so far I haven't found any good D/IPAs.

    I'm in Winston and out in Raleigh quite a bit; next week is Raleigh Beer Week www.raleighbeerweek.com you should find plenty of good IPA's being tapped all around town.

    They've got it approved by the NC ABC, so I'd assume they intend to ship it to the state.

    We got the Oracle here in Chapel Hill yesterday, so hopefully we'll be getting Mars this week sometime

    I did just find the Oracle at TW in Greensboro (on Battleground), but no Mars.

    My local shop said they hope to have Mars this week. That is was hitting Distro now.
