Bell's Mars & Oracle in Michigan

When should we start seeing this on the east side of the state?

 

Are they selling single bottles of Mars at the General Store?

 

Yep, these will hit distribution but no clue regarding quantity. Should be hitting retail locations in the next week from what I have heard.

I saw a couple of people walk out with single bottles. Generally speaking, I believe they will sell any beer by the bottle.

 

This is what I came to ask about... I hope there's a steady shipment of each beer from the series until the next one comes out. I'd go mad if I tried all but one of the beers. *Shudders*

Also looking forward to trying Oracle -- for the FIRST TIME.

 

You live in state, a trip to the cafe is never 'that' far if you do happen to miss out. I have heard there will be a fair amount, I would not expect much more than your standard limited runs from Bell's. I am just happy I am able to pick up cases from the General Store.

Oracle should be dropping in the next week or so from what I have heard. I hope to make some headway on the Mars before I buy another case of a DIPA.

Confirmed sighting of Mars in the Lansing area.

 

I am guessing that Mars drops in Detroit Tomorrow. The guy that own 8 Degrees Plato posts some corny stuff on his FB page, but usually drops a hint or two of what is coming in for the week. Here is what he posted today

"Hey--hope you and yours are safe and dry.

We are open today and we be all week. Look for some pumpkin beers and some new Bell's beers in the store tomorrow.

Leelanau Brewing tasting this Friday. 6-8pm and no cost.

I am guessing that the new Bells is Mars, unless anyone else knows of a new Bells beer being released this week.

 

Yea I picked up Mars today fresh off the truck. Apparently more limited than expected.

 

Oracle, but probably after Mars. I think it was about a week behind. Heading to Bells and DH this weekend so I'll post if I find it.

 

Listening to Mars and looking forward to picking some up today;

 

Fairway Sav-Mor in Eastpointe still doesn't have it in yet. Stopped by because I was in the area and it wasn't on the shelf.

I'm just reaaaally hoping this beer doesn't come and go before I get to try it.

Yesterday they said their distributor had truck problems, my guess is it is flood related and we all have to wait

 

Oracle at General Store. $18 a 6pack though. Ouch!

I love the idea of dueling Bell's DIPAs, I'm gonna have to do a side by side for the fun of it.

 

Picked up two bottles of Mars at Horrock's in Lansing that I can't wait to try this weekend. Seems like every bottle shop is limiting this to two per person. Hope the whole series isn't like this...
