Yeah I don't feel like I have to work hard to find most Bell's beers, probably only Oracle and Black Note. I see oodles of all the other Bell's seasonals on the shelf for several days. I mean look at Hopslam and Expedition, two of the best beers out there and they're all over the place.

I feel like Hopslam really flies off the shelves too. When Expedition is in season though you can find it for months and that's awesome!

Yeah I'm citing experiences with my own bottle shop. They got like a case or two of Oracle and it was gone within a few hours during the middle of a week day. Hopslam was around for a few days and if you just ducked in there after work, you got it.

Heading to Royal Oak/Birmingham area this weekend - anyone locate any there? Or Merchant's in Dearborn?

Merchants in Dearborn was sold out weeks ago. Discount Drinks in Wyandotte got another batch of Oracle last Friday, probably also gone.

I went to Bells two weekends ago and they had pallets of both. Honestly, that's probably your best bet unless you find some hole in the wall beer place.

    My rankings:
    Mars > Oracle > Hopslam

Mars by leaps and bounds and I had them side by side at the brewery to compare. Never been a fan of Hopslam.

I'd be content with just an empty bottle of Mars at this point. :slight_frown:

Personally I was really disappointed with Mars. I don't like super malty IPAs and this one was a malt bomb. Just my preference though. It reminded me of a less boozy Devil Dancer, which was the beer I most regret buying the this year.

It's not a bad beer by any means, but if you're expecting something really hoppy, don't get your hopes up on this one.

Anyone in Kalamazoo area looking for more Oracle the Harding's on Westnedge in Portage just put out 3 cases. Bottled 08/08 don't know if they were sitting on it or what, seems kinda dumb to me.

I'd love to find more Oracle. I loved it and was lucky to get a 6er in August.

I found one bottle of Oracle in Michigan....and two cases in North Carolina..go figure. Guess they don't like it there?
