Well, it's almost that time. What's everyone's thoughts on the beer?

Damn...wish I could add a poll after editing...

Meh... I'm not a die hard drinker of the style so I might not be the best judge. I think it's decent though.

If they followed Leinenkugel's lead it would already be on shelves!

I don't recall being too impressed with it last year, but my friends all thought it was fantastic (they're primarily bmc drinkers). I'll probably still pack up a 6pk though. Maybe my opinion of it will change.

Decent beer on a hot summer day but nothing I go out of my way for.

Great summertime session for me. Not a whole lot better than sitting on a deck shooting the shit with friends with a bunch of Oberon

I love this beer. However, I had some very fresh from the brewery last year, and it seemed much hoppier than I was used to, probably because I usually don't drink it a week after its been bottled. I bought a case from the brewery and gave some to my brothers and father in law, and they all loved it.

All the BMC drinkers I know love it...I'm not a huge fan.

Varies by batch -- it's been extremely inconsistent. At its best, it's a very good summertime session. At its worst, it's a thoroughly unremarkable wheat.

Good beer but in a style that generally does not excite me.

Agree with this....all the non-craft beer drinking girls crave it here in Michigan

Great intro beer,... a best seller for Bell's,... nice refreshing summer beer,... always look forward to seeing it come out (SUMMER is on it's way!!!),... but for the established BA, it may get pedestrian.

But,.....I'm sure some Neanderthal will come on here and and share his hate with us,... glass half empty guy

I love Bell's, it tastes like Bell's, but it's pretty underwhelming considering all of the hype and love it gets.. to me it smells and tastes like fresh air, I dunno if that's a good thing or not..

Personally I think it's a world class beer, but I'm probably alone on that front. I also love Southern Tier SunHop, in the style.
