Per their FB page, Bell's Octoberfest is making the return to bottles this season:

Octoberfest returns to bottles for the first time in five years, will debut in 12-packs. One of our fall favorites is returning to the bottling line for the first time in five years.

Bell’s Octoberfest Beer (5.5% ABV) will also debut in 12-packs of 12 oz. bottles when it starts shipping in August. Bottles, six-packs and 12-packs will all feature our refreshed Bell’s logo and packaging.

This limited, sessionable lager will ship to all states we distribute to.

“Octoberfest is a brewery and a fan favorite, one that we get a lot of questions about,” said Bell’s Vice President Laura Bell.

"This is the year we can finally say yes, Octoberfest is coming back in bottles. It has been too long, it’s a perfect way to welcome cooler weather,” she said.

Smooth and highly drinkable, Octoberfest opens the door to the coming autumn with a light, dry toasted malt note without too much sweetness.

Additional details will be shared at here and on our social media as it becomes available.

    A syllogism.

I look forward to all versions of this style.
    Bell's produces good beer.
Therefore, I look forward to Bell's Octoberfest.

These Oktoberfest beers can't come soon enough, in my opinion. "Harvest Season" for my liking. :grinning: Cheers!

    Nice!
I expect this beer to be a killer!
Bells always hits the classic styles perfectly.

Though I'm wondering when some brewery will start marketing a session Oktoberfest....

It's great to see this in bottles again.

If I could put in a request to Larry and Laura, I would pay good money for a growler fill of an imperial version of your Oktoberfest. Just sayin'.

I know we still have two months of summer left and all that, but I am so ready for football and Oktoberfest beers. I'll be adding this one to my ever-growing list.

Agreed. Once hockey ends, i look foward to football. Both require the necessary beer.

I am excited, I was always a big fan of this beer. I am hoping production will be higher-I don't know why but for some reason this would fly off the shelves.

I had one on tap last year, it was very good. I usually wait til Sept for Octoberfest beers, but I may have to make an exception.

Bell's MDV (Melanoidin Delivery Vehicle) is now deployed in 12 packs!! Excuse the pun, but this one pushes the melanoidin buttons for me in a good way.

It did for me as well, the last time I had it in the bottle, hopefully the new incarnation remains the same!

Huh, I missed the quote from Laura Bell -- to all of those who don't "get" that Oktoberfest beers are more for cooler weather, straight from a brewer's mouth:
"This is the year we can finally say yes, Octoberfest is coming back in bottles. It has been too long, it’s a perfect way to *welcome cooler weather.*”

Had a bottle this past weekend, it was delicious! One of the better ones this year so far.

Haven't seen this yet in my market and was curious as to how it's tasting. Really excited to try it. Good to see the early word is pretty positive.
