Haven't seen anyone mention it, but I picked some up at my local shop (East Lansing). Anyone else spotted it out there?

Picked up a case of it at the general store last Friday. $62 OTD.

Yeah I went to general store for Neptune and saw a ton of Oracle in the cooler. Had both on tap while I was there. Grabbed a couple sixers to bring back for friends.

I haven't seen it around the AA area yet, but that doesn't mean much. Anyone know the bottling date?

I know you're kidding (kind of), but this is one beer I don't buy a lot of because I do feel that after about a month it's already turned into something I wouldn't like to drink much of. Fresh, on the other hand, this is my favorite DIPA from Bell's.

It's very good, but Mars to me was the icing on the cake.

My taste buds thought Mars was a boozy mess. To each his own right?

I had both Mars and Oracle on tap at Bells last summer and thought Oracle was much better. I don't know if I would call it a boozy mess but not as well balanced as Oracle.

Totally agree that Mars was better last year, had them side by side and thought Oracle was rather bitter and unbalanced. Not the beer I remembered from the past. Still a great beer and will definitely buy it when I see it this year. Hope to find it on tap in Chicago, no such luck last year

I thought Oracle was one of the most bitter, imbalanced, and borderline undrinkable beers I've had, and I loved the original Ruination. More power to you guys since we hardly saw any in WI...ever.

Agreed. Oracle is one of my favorite Bells offerings throughout the year and I buy what I can get.

Interesting. Oracle is fine when having it by itself but seems to fall short when having it with other similar brews. Had some Oracle last year during a Bells tap takeover next to some Hopsoulution. Went to the event with Oracle high on the hit list but enjoyed the Hopsoulution better. Same thing with Mars...

If you're not drinking Oracle in the first month of being in the bottle your view will be skewed. Drops off faster than zombie dust.

Loved Mars, could not even finish the sample of Oracle in my flight. Something about that beer just really did not agree with me...now I'm wondering if I'd like it better after the drop off...shoot, I'm seriously tempted to buy a bottle of something I didn't like and let it sit for a couple months in the hopes it will improve. I need help.

I can say Oracle was perfect at the six month mark. One of the few that doesn't turn into a malt bomb that old.
