This is now turned on. The new brewhouse was designed for tours. I was at the May Open House. Impressive place, and I have seen more than a few breweries.

It definitely is an impressive place, and I was also there for the grand opening. Having a tasting room is so traditionally a part of the the typical brewery tour process in other breweries that I hope that somehow this can be accomplished in the future. However, I think Michigan's liquor law is probably the blocking force since Bell's is classed as a Brewery, and I know that there are serving limitations placed on that category. We need a loophole.

I think that the law says a Brewers license can have one taproom, and that is the Eccentric Cafe for Bells.

Sounds like a good time and very informational. Might have to make it up that way for tour. I think I'm only 2 and 1/2 hours from Bells so could be a fun Saturday with the friends.

If you could do the production tour first, then the downtown brewery tour, then the Cafe for beer, it would maximize the information gained and retained. If you know what I mean.
