Saw on Beer Street Journal. Nice label. I am curious if this was in the works prior to that tuffy Bud commercial. Count me in though.

That is an awesome "up yours Budweiser" move. I say stick it to them a little more and make an Oberon-a-rita or something along their creative lines.
48 bottles at $20 a pop, bet this is gone in a matter of minutes. Guessing no hope of it being on tap.

At 48 bottles for sale, it sounds like a 5-gallon batch was brewed with 50 bottles produced. Where are the two missing ones? I'd say one was for Larry's personal consumption, and maybe, just maybe, the other one went to the advertising depart at AB-InBev with a two word note attached. :grinning:

I don't know if it means anything, but the TTB approved a keg tag (1/4 bbl & 1/2 bbl) last month. Is that just a matter of them covering their bases?

I was super excited to try this until I saw how little would be made.

So did anyone ever see any of this for sale?

With all the sediment and crap that gets created during the brewing process, 48 bottles is about the average yield from a 5 gallon batch. Curious to see what sort of uber-whale status these are going to have.

This will be a beer with zero reviews. No way a single bottle will get poured.

All will be poured as I understand...This release will be in the pub (Café) and be for on site consumption only - No bottles to go. You can leave with an empty to save.
I called today and this is what Bell's shared.

This. It was just shared on the full pint. Consume on-site.

Kudos. Tired of everyone treating this stuff like liquid gold, buying only to trade, jacking up prices at the local gougers, and making the good stuff impossible to get. It's beer, drink it. If I knew when this was happening I'd partake. And I'm a 1:45 drive.

That was a good idea on Bells part (on-site pours only). The article didn't make mention of that, it only said that 48 bottles were being sold at $20 a pop.

Also nice that they're donating the proceeds to the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail.
