Bell's Saturn

My local shop had what looked like 2-3 cases on the shelf Wednesday, no limit, priced at $11.99 per six.

 

Where in MI was this?

brother in law is at Bells general store right now getting saturn. they also have mercury and jupiter.

local store posted up they got saturn today. limit 2 bottles a person. 1.90 each

 

I'm out of town until Sunday and will stop by if they have any. What's the chance of that?

 

Let me know if they have any left Sunday. I think I'm heading up Monday.

 

Black Note lasted almost a week even with people from all over the region driving to buy cases. I'm just assuming it will last a bit. I could have also bought as much as I wanted at MegaBev yesterday, so it's pretty available as far as I've seen. But I don't have any more info than anybody else. It's probably just best to call.

 

I was so glad to see this post while coming back from Chicago yesterday, thanks for the heads up as I picked up a case.

 

If you are in East Lansing, Tom's Party Store is out and as far as I know On the Rocks and Big Ten East still has some available 2 limit per person at both stores.

 

The fridge at the General Store was packed with Saturn, as of 6pm Friday night.

Had my first one last night. I'd say this is closer to a BA scotch ale, like Wulver or Backwoods Bastard, than a barleywine. Not to9 heavy or rich, minimal hop bitterness, but huge bourbon flavor.

 

Has this hit Ann Arbor?

 

Most places in Ann Arbor aren't getting it until next week, but plum market got a little bit Friday. They were doing a two bottle limit for $2.70 per bottle as of Friday.

 

No, apparently it was sitting in the distributor's warehouse but they hadn't allocated it yet. Pretty much par for the course in SE Mich.

 

Yup. Went to a shop in Brighton last night and he said they haven't gotten it yet.

 

If anybody that picked this up at Bell's is looking to trade a 6'er, give me a holler.

 

Macomb County/Oakland County doesn't have it yet, to my knowledge. Likely coming in next week.

 

Everybody I've called in Livingston is the same.

 

Just scored a case from Bell's store for $43. Will be sampling tomorrow night

 

They had a pallet and a half at 1pm today.
