Bell's Saturn

I got some at Plum Market in Ann Arbor on Friday. Two bottle limit, they keep it in the back. Guy said they should be getting more on Tuesday

 

Any eastside MI sightings?

 

In my experience, most Bell's beers are delivered on Tuesday and Saturday in Oakland and Wayne Counties.

 

OK, I figured as much but sometimes grocery stores will get odd day shipments.

 

Looking around Milford, I heard Tuesday. Around Brighton/Howell, Friday.

 

Picked up 3 bottles in Madison today. Thought I'd pay more than $1.99.

 

Incredible. I figured these things would go for $10 a bottle even though you can pick up a case at Bells for 43 bones.

 

Wisconsin gets this before Detroit. Good God, there is something terribly wrong with MI distribution.

Pretty standard - happens with most Founder's stuff too. From what I hear, the SE Mich distributors have been doing a terrible job keeping up with craft beer's explosive growth, so stuff sits in the warehouse while they decide allocations and catch up on other stuff they need to get out the doors.

 

I'm glad I made the drive to K-zoo. Basically got my friends to pay for the gas.

 

Any word on if it's still available at Bell's? I haven't seen it hit here in Chicago and was wondering if there's any chance to grab some on my way through K-zoo on Friday.

 

Just call the store on your way through K-zoo.

 

That certainly makes the most sense! Not sure why I didn't think of doing that.

 

They are re-stocking it on a daily, as needed basis. The good news is it seems they made a ton of it as I know they are selling quite a bit from the store. But it will eventually run dry and nobody (except the SSS) knows when that will be.

 

I don't care how long I need to wait, I just want at least a bottle.

 

Definitely hit Ann Arbor today. Plum, Arbor Farms, and Busch's all got it.

 

Most everyone sw Oakland county got it today. Ranges of 2.70 - 5.00 per bottle. Sense some gouging taking place if a case only cost 43 at the eccentric cafe.

 

Got a 6er from buschs in Ann Arbor for $14. I was surprised they didn't have a 1-2 bottle limit.

 

$5 a bottle? That's a pretty outrageous price.
