I'm drinking a bottle of Saturn today, a few days past the 1 year mark bottled on 4/3/15. I find it quite good, there is a sweetness almost raisins or dried fruit upfront followed by a sort of toasted caramel vanilla on the after taste. No alcohol heat or burn whatsoever. There is a sugary cotton candy like flavor on the exhale after you swallow and a dry finish in the mouth. Has anyone else tried Saturn on the year mark if so what do you think?

Set aside 1 bottle for cellaring, should have saved more but it was so drinkable right out of the gate!

Well after a year it's still going good when do you plan on opening yours? I'd save it for something special if you only have one bottle.

I have two left. I seriously hope Bell's brings this back at some point!

I agree, this one put Bell's back on my radar. Hope they continue to try new recipes.

I have two in my cabinet staring at me every time I open the door. I don't know when I'll open them.

I generally don't love Bells, but I love Saturn. I didn't notice much of a difference between a couple of months old and almost a year old. I have quite a few more since I started trading for it after my first one. Pretty easy to get via trade.

I still have 8 left..need to get to drinking some of those. Good to hear it's showing well - I'll transfer a couple from the cellar to my fridge soon.

Very close to BCBBW batch 1...in other words, it's really good!

So I'm hearing I should probably drink one of these? Because I'm sitting on 30...whoops.

I had one a few weeks ago and it still tasted great. No issues with aging.

Just had one this weekend. It didn't show many signs of aging, maybe was a little more thin than I remember the last one being, but maybe that's just a fuzzy memory. Great stuff.

This is nice to see. I only managed to get two so I am sitting in them. Since I only got two I'm waiting for a special occasion!

I cracked a Saturn a few weeks ago. The only flavor that I wasnt a huge fan of was the stale hop flavor present. Otherwise I thought Saturn was drinking well. I just think that it will need more time; like a year to get rid of the stale hop flavor. Still has nice barrel notes and great malt flavor.

I agree. Getting better with time IMO. Opening one about every six months . Will be visiting again in November.

Had one tonight 4/3/15 bottle date. Very nice. Bourbon heat melds well with dried fruit and toffee flavors. Hop bitterness faded but still there on backend. I liked it and thought it melded together well flavor wise. But I could see it going a bit more as well. Not much if any oxidation that I picked up. Lots of floaters though
