Anybody know when the seasonal Bell's Stouts should arrive in PA (specifically Pittsburgh)?

I've got a 1/4 of Double Cream Stout and a case of Cherry Stout on special order... and I'm about out of stout/porter at home. If it's not going to make it to Pittsburgh for another month I might buy a case of something to hold me over, but if it shows up next week (or something like that) I'm really going to kick myself if I buy a case of something this week...

The website shows Java, Expedition, Double Cream, and Cherry all coming out at the start of October... I just don't know how long to expect for them to make their way to PA.

I"m on the eastern side of the state but I know I've been able to purchase all those stouts at one point of another. If I happen to see them I can let you know.

I didn't even know you could get Bell's in Western PA. I just thought it was all Eastern/South Eastern PA.

Darn shame. I did not know anything about this. Thanks for posting! Certainly helps me with my decision to buy a case of something stout/porter right now or not...

Yeah. It's too bad about the cherry crop this year. Glad to have helped with some useful info. Best of luck in your beer buying!

I never saw Expedition anywhere in the city last year. I never made it out to the House to look for it but between a half dozen Market Districts and a couple beer shops North the city I came up nada.

Grabbed a case of Expedition at Shangy's on Saturday. Last one they had (in the front of the store at least).

I grabbed a case tonight in Penn Hills to go along with my six pack. Expedition must be more plentiful in Pittsburgh this year.

IMHO age cherry stout is better then fresh.

Not too famaliar with the area, but what the best place to pick up some Bell's that's close to the Weyerbacher Brewery?

FYI, for anyone who remembers this thread and is interested, I just now got a call that my 1/4 barrel has come in.

Apparently draft trails stout (at least this year, for this particular brand, in the Pittsburgh area) by 3-4 weeks. I was starting to worry...

I can say with 100% certainty that Expedition is at Giant Eagle Market District in Robinson, just came back from there a few hours ago. I was in and out real quick, but I'm almost certain that they had the other two. You should give them a call tomorrow.
