I found one bottle in Dayton last weekend at arrow wine for $1.50.

    That place is so weird.

I picked up a 6er today in Elmhurst at Doti's on York Rd. Was out there visiting some family and stopped in. They had maybe 7 or 8 six packs left. $15.99 per 6er.

Doti was sold out, but I found two other places and scrounged 5 bottles around $4 per. Thanks, all!

Glad you were able to find some. The other place in Elmhurst that has been good was the joint on North Ave and West St. Can't think of the name....Cottage something.

I grabbed 2 6'ers of this when it was in the Dekalb/Sycamore area.....

No limit, there was 5 6-packs on the shelf...

I split one with my co-workers, they found it delish, I had the other one to the dome...Personally, reminded me of a Ruination or some sort of strong Stone beer.

I don't quite get the hype though, honestly??? Is it because it's Bells ?? This is the first time I had it, but Stone and others make beers that taste like that year round. Good beer, but nothing I would go out of my way to buy... I just happen to come across it, didn't even know it was out yet.

Over-Hyped....IMHO. ((Sorry you missed it, Jake, I would have hooked you up with a 6'er had I known you wouldn't be able to grab some.))

Has the BCBS release come yet?

Yeah, the Corner, thanks. They sold out hella-quick, too. Thanks, though.

Just arrived in the Grand Rapids area. Can this still be around this metro area? Any help would be appreciated.

You must have a good relationship with them there. I went in and asked for some and they said they have it in back in the manager's office, but they are releasing it on Saturday for 1 bottle limit and won't sell any until then. When I mentioned that I heard someone else got it already from Otto's Oakland, they said it wasn't possible.

Oh well, wish I coulda gotten some. Maybe Saturday.

Had Oracle on tap last night at The Ivanhoe in Racine. they also had Bell's Bourbon Barrel Batch 9000. Would have loved to have had both, but heading to the beer festival up the road after that would have made for a very rough night.

I work there, must have been someone that heard the wrong information when we got it in. I already sold a few bottles. My bad, I'll have to talk to them to make sure they understand.

I'll have to stop back in tonight if work doesn't go too late then. Hopefully there's still bottles left.

lol I'm reading this post having flashbacks, so thanks for the shout out bro! A great night indeed.

But I'm with the OG, Oracle takes the cake for me. Not a HUGE fan of Hopslam. Don't get me wrong, I'll drink my two 6 packs when it's fresh and just released, but don't think twice about it after that. There are plenty of other great IPA's/DIPA's out there to satisfy my hop itch.

Oracle on tap? I didn't think they kegged any of it this year? Can anyone confirm? I had heard from numerous sources that this past release was bottle only.
