Picked up a couple of 6'ers in MI today. Looking forward to doing a side by side with a Nosferatu.

Thought it was fabulous...not sure how I feel about aging it though, had such a fresh hop flavor I feel like the timing is right now to put your liver into overdrive!

I liked it, but the hops were very present and I'm not a hophead. Masked, but still there, so I'm aging my others a little. I see it as a better, less hoppy Hopslam, with the honey.

Hello. I've found it to be quite boozy (obviously), and just a bit hoppy. Not in my face hoppy. Will investigate further in search of that flavor profile.
Foremost in Villa Park lists it today on BeerMenus. I stopped by last week in my tour of searching for this, and they said they were getting it soon, but would be only sold by the bottle, limit 1. Fine, that's their choice. BUT SELLING AT $7.99 A BOTTLE IS JUST PLAIN WRONG! I could choose differnet words, but won't. I remeber them selling the Last HopSlam for $24.99. I'm taking them off my shopping tour list. Stat!. Thanks.

Hello. Scored a full case and 3 sixers today. Not gonna age this one bit. Don't see the validity of considering that. IMO. Thanks.

Got a 6-pack yesterday & drank the first one this afternoon. I agree...doesn't seem like ageing would improve it. I fully enjoyed it, though. To me, it drank like a slightly more boozy, carmelly, & "lightly fruity" version of Nugget Nectar. Less piney than NN.

I'd buy another 6-pack if it wasn't so expensive. Paid $20 for the sixer.

Hello. I'm justifying the high price by considering how much a bomber of it would be around here. $8,9,10,11? The highest I paid was $19.99, the lowest $15.99. And I'm amazed at how much GI BCS I've seen in my travels. One place had a 4 case stack right by the counter. Thanks.

I have to say, I drank one bottle of this the other night and was not impressed at all. It is just way too booze forward for the style. I don't get hardly any of the sweet, malty backbone that one would expect from a red ale, and, worse still, the hops aren't even that present. It just tastes like a liquored up mess. I'll give another bottle a shot, but I feel like this might be simply trading capital and that's it.

Hello. I agree, this isn't the Hop Bomb that is described in many of the BA reviews. Pretty tasty, though, for an 11 percenter. Thanks.

For the guitar players in the bunch who gets this, Soldano hit "11" on the dial long before Bell's did - Larry should have collaborated with Michael! :sunglasses:

You can send the rest my way. But honestly, the beer was amazing. I agree it was a tad boozy, but the hops overshadow that for sure. Try it again, I'm sure something was off about your drinking experience.

Was surprised to find some on the shelf near Chicago today (when a Bell's rep I talked with on Friday evening said the area only got 100 cases).

Hello. This is/was great! I ended up with 3 1/2 cases. I gave a sixer to a merchant that didn't score any. I felt bad for him. I'm glad I'm not part of the politics of distribution Thanks.
