Bell's Vanilla Black Note

Wonder where creaminess comes from? Vanilla extract isn't creamy, so is this vanilla creme with lactose?

 

Love Black Note and love Madagascar vanilla beans so I need to try this one! I sure hope this gets distributed.

 

This sounds delicious. I hope to acquire some of this.

 

Love regular BN, I'm sure I'll love this variant as well

This sounds awesome.

I like BA Exp better than BN, but I feel like this adjunct addition might be just what's needed. In theory, adding double cream stout to expedition before barreling sounds brilliant, but in practice (and I love reg Expedition as well as 30th), it was eclipsed by BA expedition once that was distributed.

Thread is making me want to pick up some BA Expedition in the meantime.

 

Might have to do a comparo with Central Waters BBA Vanilla Stout.

Things may be different in MI, but around here breweries don’t typically get label approval for in-house releases. Federal approval isn’t necessary if they’re not sending it out of state.

I've been hoarding my last 2017 Black Note hoping for a new release. I'm looking forward to this one!

 

Has this landed anywhere. Hoping some makes it down to Texas

 

It hasn’t been released yet. Rumors point to a Black Friday release.

 

In the meantime Blackbeard’s Bear Hug hits their general store this week. An imperial stout aged in rum barrels with vanilla, cinnamon and coconut. Wish I had time for a long road trip to Kalamazoo.

 

Any idea where this will be distributed? Regular Bell's market or Limited?

 

Found some after calling around the last few days. Limit 2 bottles. Looking forward to sampling my 2 pack.

 

1 hour 45 minute line at the brewery for 2 four packs at opening. Longest line for any release they've ever had.
