I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan. I don't tend to like many German-style wheats, which is what this tastes like.

This beer is not very good IMO...make sure you get a taste of it before you get a whole tulip, snifter, or pint...JP at Ashleys warned me up front and Im glad he did...

This is an awesome wheat beer! So much yeast at the bottom of the bottom, the most I've ever seen. Rich velvety feel. Lovin' Wheat Love.

This beer delivers, very very good out of the bottle. I would imagine if you don't like Wheat beers, you may not like Wheat Love.

Most, if not all, Wheatwines I have drank tasted like a wheaty barley wine, which i like.

This one tasted like a big wheat beer. Once I got my brain and tongue around that , I loved it.

Very curious about this one. I like Gumballhead, and I have liked a few other wheat beers, but I like them more on the hoppy side. I liked Founders Fest Wheat as well. Is this anything like those?
    Thanks!

I think the best way to describe Wheat Love to someone who has not had it would to be to say it taste like an Imperial Hefeweizen. Hops are present but not the centerpoint. The yeast contributes a lot to this beer, works very well with the heavy wheat malt bill.

Wheat Love has dropped in Charlotte. I grabbed 3 bottles- even though there was apparently a 1 bottle limit. My buddy was so mad

Going to pop one of them today. Let's GO Panthers!

I think this is a perfect description FWIW.

Even better than I remember. Glad I went for the sixer instead of a single.

Now, if they'd bring back Wheat 8...

    Anybody remember Batch 8,000?

Would love to go back and do a side-by-side.

Just got back for Bell's Roll Out the Barrel event and had some Uberon (barrel aged Oberon, tastes nothing like Oberon in a good way) and got to thinking how great a barrel aged Wheat Love would be. Probably be closer to what most people think a wheatwine to be I'm guessing.
