F yeah to this brewery. They are making some very damn good beers. Lost River IPA, Farmhouse IPA and Witchshark IIPA are all excellent. Still have their dubbel and porter to try in bottles, but its really nice to see an Ontario brewery like this creating some great, different beers then what we are used to seeing in Ontario. Just wish it was easier to get their beer as not everyone is in the Toronto area.

I visited them once and was very impressed as well. Tried the Witchshark and the Lost River Porter. Both were fantastic. I am really looking forward to their retail shop having regular hours with growler fills for those of us in suburbia.

Do they really have a Porter and an IPA that are both called Lost River despite the fact that they only have about 10 beers so far? lol

Maybe there is a reason behind this but there web site shows that they have Lost River IPA and Lost River Blatic Porter.

If that is my only complaint about Bellwoods, you know they are doing a great job.

Was just trying to point out that WeedKing4 wasn't wrong about the names in his comment (as I believe atomeyes may have been trying to suggest with his (?) comment), but these are the actual names Bellwoods have given to their beers.

Regardless, these guys are really good. Great hopping in their beers, and they're really doing some nice stuff with the barrel aging, blending and Brett additions. Looking forward to having more of their stuff in the future.

I am looking forward to trying something of theirs that is barrel aged. Maybe at the next bottle release I will be able to stop by and pick something up.

I grabbed a bottle of the witchshark and baltic porter from their bottle release and they did not disappoint. I wish they hadn't sold out of the bottles of the dubbel before I got there because I tried it on draught at the bar along with 3 others and it was my favourite of the lot. Hopefully they'll bottle it again or have it on draught relatively soon.

I also can't wait for the wine barrel Bier de Garde to be made available. The Base beer is very good and I think it would benefit greatly from aging in wine barrels (red or white).

I was a part of their tasting team before they opened, and I thought everything was great. I was there last week talking to Luke the head brewer, and he got me a couple pints. Really great people and a fantastic brewery!
