Pretty much. I assume they fell in love with the location and didn't think enough about how difficult it would be to get that location up and running. Obviously, it has been a fiasco. Their own blog posts allude to this. This could have been pumping out beer at another location by now if they went with a more suitable location.
It's an incredible investment -- opening two facilities at the same time in one of the most expensive cities in North America. I've long held Bellwoods in regard as one of the best and most consistent breweries in North America. I'm hoping they reach even higher with all this extra production space.
Anyone know what capacity will be at their 2nd and 3rd locations? Website says the original location has a capacity of 2400 Hl.
