Spending a night in Beloit and want to bring home some bottles, especially New Glarus. What are my best options?

What's the best option for beer and food in the area, Rockford, South Beloit, Beloit?

Badger Spirits for New Glarus, Everett's in S. Beloit for everything else.
Olympic Tavern in Rockford gets pretty high marks, Oasis is divey but has a great selection. Take a look at some place reviews to get an idea of what's what in the area.

Lol @ Beloit. Everett's is the true liquor store right over the border. Bushel & Pecks right downtown is a hip cafe/green grocer that carries the current New Glarus stuff, but not much else. I think your best option is just to find pizza...

There's a Woodman's in Beloit and I'd check them out as they'll have a big selection of New Glarus and I'd guess they'll be cheaper than Bushel & Peck's too. They only accept cash and debit cards.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I ended up getting a late start and stopped in Bloomington/Normal at Destihl. Good food. Ok beers.

Everetts in S Beloit was OK. Decent selection, but nothing special.

Badger Spirits actually had a better selection of local/regional beers. I like that they had a case featuring higher rated beers, with ratings listed (BA ratings?).
