Highlife Bottles, it has to be in the bottle. I also enjoy playing PBR Poker from time to time with a 6 pack on the line for the winner.

For me, there's nothing wrong with a homemade chelada.

Gotta agree with Cavedave and his vote for Genny Cream. That's if we're only using taste as a qualifier. I'm a poor enough beer drinker that brews associated with certain positive experiences will always be faves with me; even if I know they taste pretty poorly in reality. Meister Brau (college) and Gallo (goof-off mid-twenties) are always high on my list. And for you Gallo (aka Famosa) haters, if you haven't had it in its home country of Guatemala, you just haven't had it. It still sucks, but you'll love it anyway.

I still appreciate a good King Cobra forty, which may be why I chose my username. We drank so many of those in college when we realized how much cheaper it actually was to drink 40's rather than 30 racks.

If I am going to a tailgate or a similar event out in the sun, I will usually always buy a cheap beer like keystone or busch. I have too many craft beers to try when I'm chilling at home, but when I'm outside in the heat there is something very refreshing about a cold light beer.

I think this is a wonderful beer. Only has a BA rating of 77 (okay).

PBR has a BA rating of 68 (poor) and is a pretty damn good lager. The wife's choice, so it's always in the fridge. An inexpensive beer to drink when I've had enough and don't need to waste any "good" beers.

I have a soft spot for Michelob Amber Bock (67) because my college friends and I used to get unlimited free pitchers of it every week at our favorite pizza place. We knew the waitress and as long as we bought food she never charged us for beer. It was amazing.

I also like the occasional Sapporo (67) and Kirin Ichiban (62) that my Japanese buddies used to drink. Michelob Winter Cask Ale (67) is another nostalgic one that was a favorite of several friends, but I think it has been discontinued.

These days when I am broke, already drunk or palate-wrecked I switch over to PBR (68) and Stag (71). Those have been my cheap beers of choice for a long time and remain my go-to beers when I'm going to drink a lot with friends.

My local New Orleans style restaurant has Magic Hat #9 on tap and I must admit I enjoy that in the summer with some red beans and rice.
A Tsingtao is always welcomed, and often required, when I'm enjoying spicy Oriental food.
And while I don't always drink beer, when I do I drink Dos Equis (with Mexican food that is).

For one that actually gets a Poor rating I guess I'd have to go with St Pauli Girl (67) which is surprisingly good for an industrial Euro-lager, with just enough of a hop presence to keep it interesting.

I like Pacifico. People tell me it's not good but I think it's AMAZING with any Mexican food, and good just by itself. Mexican lagers in general are my guilty pleasure.

I got a soft spot in my heart for Michelob Amber Bock, thought this was the world's best beer before I tried Guinness and then moved on to craft.
