Sam Adams Blueberry Lager. Didn't expect to like it but it was my favorite out of the summer variety pack this year.

    Drinking a ranger right now.

    Two I'll add:
    1. Another New Belgium, and I would consider average, Accumulation. Drank my first 6 of the season last weekend. Enjoy the shit out of that stuff.
    2. For a truly below average beer...Caguama is my summertime pool/lake go to. Cheap, light, and better than the alternatives.

I think the beer was decent for a session IPA, but I guess expected more from a Harvest Ale from them, seemed a little watered down for my taste. In summer these might be great for hot long days

For years when I liked variety but before I was on BA and figuring out more about beer options, I always liked Saranac mix 12 packs as great value for some drinkable brews

Can feel the judgment about to come on with this one, but I'll have keystone light, Coors (banquet), or yuengling on the weekend if I'm doing some sort of project and just need a cold beverage that's not too complicated in my hand. Recently I've found that the simple times pilsner from Trader Joe's also fits the bill nicely there. For me I find there's a time and place for most beers, and the craft brews for me find their time with a meal, while enjoying a fine cigar, or before bed.

Lindemann's (sic) Framboise...It's been around for years, well disributed, and it's been a good gateway beer for me to use to broaden people's horizons.

    I really like Florida Cracker.

What else are you going to drink with Thai food?

    Preferable the 7 oz bottles.

The below average beer I have a soft spot for is Crickit Hill Jersey Shore Breakfast Ale. I feel like I like this beer a lot more than I should.

I think the most obvious answer for me would be Bitburger, but it really has to be on tap or out of a can. I think it's a great example of German Pils, but it only has a 79 (3.45) rating on BeerAdvocate.

I'd also say I like Sam Adams Little White Rye, which has a rating of 75 (3.26)

Lastly, I'll mention Floyd D'Rue, which I liked pretty well (my bottle had no infection), but gets a rating of 76 (3.32)

Those are all a little higher than the standard mentioned by the OP, but I can't really think of anything in the 3.00 range that I could honestly say I genuinely like. Tolerate maybe. I guess Shiner Bock might qualify...

+1 to the Bitburger- that 79 surprises me a bit, actually, it deserves better than that.
