Sadly, there was an article in the Union Tribune this week about how Benchmark Brewing is on the verge of going under. I'll be going there as often as possible before it disappears like Council. Hell, maybe we can save the place with enough business in the tasting room (or maybe we can throw a carwash; this worked in the 80's and 90's, according to the movies). "Here's your Damn Stout" (10% ABV) is great, and they have some of the best low-ABV beers I've had, including Oatmeal Stout, Table Beer, and IPA. I hope to see some of you there.
I stopped in Friday and picked up Brown and Oatmeal Stout cans. Feisty Fluer is tasting fantastic and I would of got some but they were in the middle of canning it.
