Hey guys, was just wondering if there is any interest in doing a weekend bottle share in the near future here in Bend. Any other Bend area BA's that'd be interested in sharing some bottles in the not so distant future? I spoke with Tom at Platypus Pub the other day, and he said he'd be ok with hosting. He mentioned that they have an upstairs room that can accommodate up to 29 people. Not sure if the turn out would be large enough for us to need that much space, but who knows. I was thinking of doing something maybe the second Sunday in April? Date, location, etc. are all up for debate really. Just wanted to see if there was enough interest in doing one, to put it together. Hope to share some good beers soon!
The 20th works fine for me as well, so we can shoot for that. I'll run the date by the guys over at Platypus Pub (unless anyone has other venue suggestions) and make sure that the 20th works for them too. If this one works out well, I'd like for it to become a more regular thing. It doesn't seem like there are a ton of active Bend BA's, so if y'all have other friends who'd like to participate definitely let them know. Since this will be the first of hopefully many to come, I'd say there is probably no need for a theme of any sort and we can just do a little free for all. Once the date is set in stone I can perform the Creating of the Bottle Share Google Doc ceremony and make this shiz official.
