Poured for Silver Moon today, can totally see why this is a fest worth travelling for, such a positive and well executed event. Tried the Elysian Spiced Pear Pale, the Burnside lowercase ipa, and the Oakshire Biere de Mars from the X taps (after my shift ended). Planning to volunteer again next year.

I was able to try the Biere de Mars up in PDX (Hop & Vine) last weekend, and I really liked it. What's funny, is that there's nothing about that beer on their website (that I could find), and I haven't seen it anywhere around town here in Eugene. Oh well, just need to get my fill in Bend this weekend.

A word of advice...y'all should be sure to try this one here:

    10 Barrel Brewing Company

Didn't make the program but we're pouring APRICOT CRUSH at the X-tap at Bend Brewfest today at 4pm! Come get some and say hey!

If anyone is still in town, the Brew Shop/Platypus is filling growlers of leftover kegs for $5.

Well, besides the bought of food poisoning that I dealt with on Friday night through most of Saturday, I had a great time as usual in the awesome beer city Bend Oregon.

Went to a couple of the awesome growler fill stations. (Phils and Growler Guys)
Bend Brew shop for some bottles and whole cone hops I need for my next homebrew.
Crux on Saturday afternoon for lunch. (awesome place with very good beers)
    And another fantastic fest.

Too bad I didn't get to see anyone, maybe next time?

    Cheers!

Confirmed. The wooden drink tokens say "3rd weekend in August" and do not have a year on them, so I'm pretty sure they recycle them year to year.

They do, a friend that lives there has brought prior years tokens to fests before.

For me, the fest itself was pretty much anti-climatic. It was fine, but it wasn't so wonderful that I feel as if I need to attend every year. On the other hand, like Flexabull, I had a great time at the various brewpubs I visited (Good Life, Crux, Bend Brewing and Deschutes), and I still can't get over the price I paid for a growler fill of Hop Venom at Growler Guys East ($8.49, with the fest coupon). I aslo stopped by the Boneyard tasting room, which was fine as well, but like the fest, I probably won't be stopping by again (unless I happen to be in town during a Notorious release).

That being said, Bend was great, and I had a great time. It's been some years since my last visit, and I had forgotten how gorgeous the location is. Add to that the awesome beer scene, and needlessto say I'll be visiting again very soon.

Probably the best news I heard was over at Growler Guys, as I found out they're going to be opening a Eugene outpost, probably this fall. Already have my punch card ready to go, for when they open. :-)
