Not yet. Thanks for the heads up. Across from a rescue mission? That is a seedy part of town. A friend of mine used to call that area the burnt 40. I used to get Vietnamese sandwiches at the Vien Dong and take them to Ramblin Road.
It's slowly being gentrified. A lot of people are predicting it will go the way the Perry District has over the last 10 years. Time will tell.
I went opening night. Typical Bennedito's pizza (good) but they only had 3 beers. The 2 IPA's were decent, but the pale ale was fantastic. They had the tanks full, so I assume they have more on tap now. It's a really cool space too and it has an awesome patio.
