Bent Paddle - BADSDB

As have I. That was the last straw. If gas wasn't so cheap right now, I'd be so pissed for having wasted a whole tank and 4 hours of vacation just to get shut out. I guess the only part that's really going to get to me will be seeing all the bottles for $100 on Craigslist from people that don't even like good beer. My roommate was hunting today too, so I guess there's still a 1% chance of me being able to try 11oz. Fingers crossed.

 

I gave up on this the second I saw the price tag. No way I'm paying that much for a beer I've never had, plus drive halfway around the globe to a random liquor store that I've never been to before at a random time. Just not even remotely worth it to me.

 

Same. Went to two stores that I always shop at, got shut out, that was the end of the hunt.

 

Yup. I posted before... I went to 2 stores that were close and quick from where I work; got shut out. Done. The fact (?) that a case was stolen from the truck shows how nuts this whole beer chasing thing has become.

This looks like a LOT more fun!

 

Got a couple at RC Liquor in Robbinsdale.

 

I went up there around 4:30 to give it a try, floor manager said it didn't come in today on the truck. I said might want to update your Twitter feed, at check out the cashier said he was the one checking in delivery and per the driver the case of BP was forgotten. I told him I do business with Johnson brothers and they looked unsettled quickly. Shady folks. I'm guessing they got it and are now sitting on it or reselling.

So there is the in person "story".

Happy with the three bottles I got.. Hope it was worth the effort!

I'm really glad I got a tip and finally scored one of these. Much, much better than I remember it on tap back in September. Also, I called it: $100 on Craigslist. I don't know how you sleep at night doing that.

 

That's going to be tricky. I don't know of any place that didn't sell out within an hour.

 

The $100 on Craigslist guy is willing to trade for a BC rare................

 

Was up in Duluth yesterday and there was tons of this beer still on the shelves at Mount royal. If any of you tc folks absolutely gave to get your hands on some.

Also, $100 on Craigslist is just ridiculous.

 

How generous. Better jump on that deal before nobody else does.

 

I use it as a point to know if I've had to much to drink. If it begins to take far to long and risk of major injury or blood loss, maybe we should call it for the night.

 

When you bust out your nice knife, its time to call it. lol
