I should, and will, write a proper review, but yet another wonderful beer from the folks up north. Their trail series has been excellent so far with this and Paddle Break Belgian Blonde. Excited to see what they do next! (and by do next I hope they can find their way into more shops in the metro)

Thought Daypack was great tasty and lower ABV

I've only tried the ESB Bitter and found it very drinkable.

I was told in March by the head brewer that that is the plan.

They announced new distribution a couple weeks ago. That should mean wider availability.

I was told at ABR in 2013 it would be canned soon. Something about Duluth coffee company not being able to roast mass quantities of beans for them. Daypack is good but very "piney" on the nose and taste.

But? You say that like it's a bad thing.

Can't wait until its available in cans. Wife especially loves it. Just take "soon" with a grain of salt is all.

I'm definitely going to seek it out. I've liked everything I have tried from Bent Paddle so far.

Picked some up. Along with Day Pack. And Black Ale. And Venture Pils. And Bent Hop.

Day Pack and Paddle Break are both solid brews.

At APN they had their cold press with vanilla, that needs to be put into cans. Then put into my belly.

They did have bombers of that at one point in time. Hopefully they do it again and get some down to the damn Twin Cities.

Yes, they sold waxed bombers in the taproom a few days before Xmas last year.
