I'll be in Duluth area on Friday, so I'll pick some up there but is their canned product available currently in the TC metro? I know Stinson had it in for a limited time, but not sure if they are seeing full distro down here yet? Also, whats the consensus on the IPA and Black ale? Reviews look fairly positive for the IPA
Good to know. Borealis is a too rich for my frugal self. I'll be spending my beer dollars on Fitgers Growlers and some Bent Paddle.
Bent Paddle's Cold Press Stout is amazeballs. Love it on nitro or off. Obviously you can't get a growler of the nitro one but I recommend it especially as the air's getting chillier out there.
Fitger's growlers aren't exactly cheap these days.... Bent Paddle's IPA I feel is one of the best around. Wish I had access to buying six packs of that all the time. I'm not a big fan of the black ale style so I really don't have an opinion on that one except it seems good. Just had a sample..
exactly what I did when I was there last time. I had 6 empty Fitger's growlers ready to fill and I just couldn't do it. I got one and then a couple sixers of Bent Paddle...
I think they offered a six pack for 50 plus tax which is pretty good, i didn't need that much though. I feel like a couple years ago fills were ten bucks and tax was included
I was surprised to find sixers of the Bent Paddle IPA and Black Ale at a little liquor store off I-35 near Sturgeon Lake. One of the few craft offerings they had. So they are extending somewhat outside Duluth. The IPA is tasty stuff.
That is good..wish the dude would have told me about that I'd have filled six growlers then..how did you find out about that
