Anyone managed to do this on a Saturday morning. Looks like it could be worth a punt?

We visit her indoors' aunt down in Greenwich often, never on a Saturday sadly so the hop to Bermondsey hasn't happened as of yet. When I get the chance I will certainly endeavour to give the BBM a reputation to match that of the oft maligned Transpennine Real Ale Trail.

Never heard of the Transpennine Real Ale Trail, having just googled it, I remain unconvinced. In theory a fabulous idea but Jesus my experience of trains in London make this sound like a potential disaster. Come to London on a Saturday!

Beermondsey has an International reputation for quality whereas the TPRAT has a reputation for part timers making a drunken nuisance of themselves. I'm sure the availability of all those lovely beers would turn me into my secret alter ego...

The Bermo Beer Mile was getting slightly out of hand after one of the newer breweries started using it to promote visitors. Being in various newspapers it turned into a bit of a magnet for stag parties which is partly why Kernel shortened their opening hours. Dave BBNo was saying it's calmed down a bit now though.

Luckily the Rail Ale Trail does not use London trains, last did part of it a few years back with John Keeling.
