Berserker 2013

    Does anyone know if this years version is still both red wine and bourbon barrel aged? Has it improved from last years supposedly infected batch? Is it delish?!

    This year's (2013) bottle says it's "aged in oak bourbon barrels". The only mention of wine is in the description of the beer ("chewy wine").

    It's quite good. The bottle I had is not infected.

    I had a 2013 last night and it was darn tasty. As far as your first ? , pmarlowe's answer was spot on.

    Grrrrrrr! How are you all getting this before meeeeeeeee.....

    I haven't seen a single bottle anywhere in town yet. Was this year's really released already?! We wants it... we deserves it... myyyyyy PRECIOUSSSS!!! (berserkous?)

    I opened my one of two bottles about two weeks ago and it was very good.
