I saw a 6 of Sucks last week.... As much as I'm tempted, I just don't think it would be worth the money being so many months old.

Isn't Sucks hitting the shelves this month? Is it just bombers or also 6's?

Mmm can't wait to try it but won't get too psyched up yet. I still remember how excited y'all Pa. homers got me for Perpetual and Unfiltered Double Simcoe.

Availability comes down to distro so for you and I this beer is easy to get but for others it may not be...

For regularly available beers in my area, not much tops Palate Wrecker and Ruination when they're fresh.

Sixpoint Resin. Everything else everyone else said is good too. But Resin definiftely deserves a mention.

They don't distribute The Truth anywhere except Maryland and DC and have no plans to distribute outside of those markets according to an email I received from them today.

"The truth is that The Truth will be a local brew, only making its way into the Maryland and DC markets."

This beer fails to meet your definition of 'all-around'.

I can't quite figure out why people keep suggesting Torpedo, it may be one of the worst IPAs I've ever tasted.

As for the topic at hand, I would have to say FW Double Jack is the best of the easily accessible DIPAs.

Hear that? That's the sound of The Truth's trade value skyrocketing.

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy! <----- That's a joke by the way. It's totally not the best IIPA.

Unfortunately that's not true around here. I keep waiting for some fresh Double Jack but everything that's on the shelves is from May. :slight_frown:
