I get the idea and agree they are a great brewery but aren't they in Canada?

Weyerbacher is pretty nice, and drastically better since Chria took over brewing a few years ago.

Schlafly makes the best Quad I've had from an American Brewery and are starting to become a "go to" brewery for me.

Ommegang is ok, something about thier beer, the yeast maybe, makes it too bready for me.

Ommegang, and Wicked Weed in Asheville, North Carolina. Unibroue if you include North America.

I also love Victory Golden Monkey and Weyerbacher Merry Monks. Those are two excellent American made tripels of how a classic tripel should taste.

The Bruery for Tradewinds Tripel, Saison Rue, Mischief and Saison de Lente
Saint Somewhere for everything they make
Ommegang for Rare Vos, Hennepin, Three Philosophers and Gnomegang
    Allagash for everything they make
Goose Island for Sofie, Matilda and Pepe Nero
    Stillwater for everything they make
I used to say Green Flash really shined with their Belgians, particularly their Trippel, Le Freak and Rayon Vert but now I just say they shine across the board (except for Saison Diego which was a letdown)
Someone had said Weyerbacher and yes, Verboten is one of my favorite Belgian pales, but their beers obviously aren't predominantly Belgian
Stone makes a couple of my favorite Belgian-style beers, Cali-Belgique and Tiger Cub Saison but, once again, Belgians aren't their specialty
Unibroue is fantastic. Gran Reserve 17 is one of the best Belgian-style beers I've ever had but they're Canadian so they don't count. If I counted them, I'd have to count Dieu du Ciel.

They're still little guys, but River North in Denver is doing a solid take on a full lineup of Belgian-style brews.

Came here to say funkwerks. I've had a few from allagash and haven't been too impressed. Recently had saison and tropic king, these were some of the truest American- Belgian Saisons I have had. Looking forward to trying more

Also a fan of brewery vivant.

A nascent operation and I'm not gonna suggest they're the best, but Duel Brewing in Santa Fe is producing some incredible brews. Sours, imperial stouts, orange wits, flanders browns. Damn good.

I have to disagree with Golden Monkey. Allagash Tripel is a good example of what a tripel suppose to taste like. Ommgang Abbey Ale is my favorite dubbel out there.

SARA. They put their own unique twist on what they do, but most of their beers are belgian at the core.
