Far as I know, these are all American saisons (based on BA categorization at my time of review), and I really liked them (and I do dig on saisons)... *no particular order*

    Boulevard's Tank 7
    Rockmill Brewery's Saison
    Stillwater's Cellar Door
    Westbrook's Thomas
    Goose Island's Halia and Sofie
    Crooked Stave's Surette and Vieille
    Brooklyn's Sorachi Ace

Side note: does anyone feel like Goose Island Sofie has slowly been losing flavor and complexity over the last few years? (I seem to have noticed this with Matilda as well). I used to think these were both top notch, but have lost a little faith the past few times trying them. Maybe my palate has changed... or maybe AB InBev's cost cutting has begun?? Open to hear other thoughts/opinions on the subject.

Until a few years ago i only drank European saisons. I don't think Europe crushes it any more - when ever I go into buy Saison Dupont - which I dearly love its a crap shoot with about a third of the bottles skunky. Some american Saisons that can more than hold their own include:
    The Alchemist Celia Saison
    Allagash Saison
    Almanac Beer Company Saison Dolores
    Boulevard Smokestack Series Saison Brett
Brooklyn Brewing Company Sorachi Ace Saison
The Bruery has several notable saisons
    Captain Lawrence Brewing Company Saison
    Cisco Brewer’s Island Reserve Saison
Cismontane Brewing Company Temporada Chardonnay Barrel Aged Saison
The Commons Brewery Myrtle Tart Farmhouse Ale
    Crooked Stave Surette Provision Saison
Epic does some nice saisons - especially their Elder Brett
    Fair State Brewing Cooperative LÄCTOBÄC
Jolly Pumpkin has a whole host of excellent saisons
    Logsdon’s Seizoen Bretta
    Nebraska Apricot Poivre Saison
    Ommegang Hennepin
Perennial Artisan Ales Saison de Lis
Port Brewing and Russian river have done some nice stuff
Prairie Artisan Ales Prairie Ale A Belgian Style Saison Ale
Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project, Jack D’or Saison Americaine
    Southampton Publick House Saison Delux
Stillwater Artisanal ales has produced some fine saisons
Tahoe Mountain does an excellent job with their saisons

I think any one of these can stand with anything from Europe. I rarely drink a saison from Europe anymore. The above list, and the new american brewers trying their hands at saisons are keeping me more than happy.

I'm not that fond of most U.S. saisons but I love the Duponts, De Glazen Toren and some Fantomes
Boulevard Tank 7 is arguably too hoppy but gets the bone dry finish correct and is a great value
    Goose Island Sofie is good
Stillwater Stateside (I prefer it to Cellar Door) is decent
Off Color Apex Predator is also decent
Pretty Things Field Mouse's Farewell (I prefer it to Jack D'Or) is good but maybe closer to a bier de garde
Most of the others are meh, just wrong or too expensive for what they are.

While I like a number of brett saisons I regard them as a separate category

    Tank 7+++++++
    Saison Rue
    Ovilla with orange and peppercorns
    Saison Brett
    Anything Stillwater
    Burning Rosids
Hennepin- which I give upstate luv, but some how's seems skunky to me

It takes a real man to wear leather undies, and sip saison. The tingling is evocative

    Ommegang Hennepin
    Pretty Things Jack D'Or
    Brooklyn Sorachi Ace
    21st Amendment Sneak Attack

I'm able to get Trillium once a year when at a trade show, always enjoyable.

Also, whenever I drink Saisons I always get Cezanne by 5 Chinese Brothers stuck in my head...

I am not a fan of the style for the most part. However Hill Farmstead does the style so incredibly well. However many of their saisons taste eerily similar to me.

I would add some comment about Hill Farmstead with some exclamation points but PSU_Mike might get upset.
