Best American quad?

    Obviously, no American quad beats the Belgians, but who do you guys think makes the best American version? Out of the ones I've tried, my favorite has to be The Bruery's 7 Swans-a-Swimming.

    If Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad qualifies then that's my fav.

    I love Three philosophers from ommegang, The reverend From Avery and Schlafly's Quad. other than that i stick with St bernardus 12 or R10.

    yer right! Nobody that I have tried comes close to Belgium quads, but I can't wait to see which ones I should try.

    Ommegang Three Philosophers and Boulevard's Sixth Glass, as mentioned. And I love Allagash four. Maybe not as on point for the style as Three Philosophers but I love it. I want to get my hands on a Stickee Monkee. In a bad way.

    Boulevard's Sixth Glass gets my vote. I like it more than a few of the Belgians but as always, taste is subjective and hype+rarity>taste.

    I was really impressed by Three Philosophers. Stickee Monkee is a world-class BA quad and one of my favorite beers altogether. I need to try Sixth Glass again...can't remember much about that one.

    Weyerbacher Quad is damn good Stickee Monkee not traditional but also damn good. I'll have see what others I've tried.
