Thought DFH had to much taste like what I'd spice a wild turkey breast with before I'd put it on my smoker

I've only had 2: Tank 7 and Hennepin, and both were very good IMO.

Gotta add Off Color's Apex Predator too -- just had it recently and really, really enjoyed it. Wonderful fruit flavors laced throughout that one, a hint of funk too, smooth and easy drinking.

My boyfriend is more the Belgian/saison expert but I recently had the Boulevard/Ommegang collab Saison and thought it was one of the best saisons I've had. And I've had most of the ones he's had. Which is pretty much any one he can get his hands on.

To the list I'd add/second Hennepin even if it's kind of a saison-wit. Really is killer.

I would have to cast another vote for boulevard tank 7. So smooth and delicious I could probably drink it forever and never get sick of it.

Oxbow!! Incredible farmhouse ales. Cambridge Sgt Pepper. Brooklyn Sorachi Ace. Many mentioned here are also great. Certainly Allagash, Stillwater, and Crooked Stave know what the hell they are doing.

    Tank 7
    Sorachi Ace

The fact Sorachi doesn't get more love on here blows my mind, and I always have some Tank 7 in the fridge.

Devils Backbone did one called Low Hanging Fruit, may have been a one off but I did enjoy it immensely. Of ones that are still being brewed, Cigar City Guava Grove and Ommegang Glimmerglass (recent discovery, that one is) top my list with Pepe Nero trailing a little further back..

Quick question for you and anyone else that may know - I heard from a few different sources that Pepe Nero has been (or will be soon) discontinued. Any truth to that?

Quick peek at website suggests that it's still available year round. I've got some friends in the distro side, I'll have to find out from them if anything was said their direction.

Not much love up here for Tired Hands. I visited their pub this past summer and I would have to put their Saisons second behind only Hill Farmstead.
