Last meal I had there was pretty good, have to agree though the service is terrible when it is half busy. Luckily for me when I got there today they were about to close early so I had the place to myself.

Yeah shame when the brewer is obviously very good at his craft!

Been very impressed with Boatrocker lately. 3 Ravens is pretty reliable, Moondog is hit and miss (but I loved the Black Lung series). It may be old fashioned, but always had a soft spot for Grand Ridge.
LCPA would have to be my go to easy to get beer. Never fails.

    1. Feral - Combination of innovation and execution the best in OZ. Need to bottle more though.
    2. Bridge Road - Have the innovation, but execution is hit and miss.
    3. Red Duck - Same as BR.
    4. Nail - Execution is good, but the range isn't.

Hope it's batch 2, unlike a certain Sydney bottleshop that is carefully aging a keg of the first batch for growler fills.

    It's a good beer

I can say with some conviction that it is one of my favourite Australian hoppy beers

You would think that a $2 hooker would be bad at unzipping, hence the low cost. I guess she's going for a high turnover, low profit margin business plan.

At such high turnover, i would expect nothing but a deft hand at the zipper and continued conviction to the cause ...

I've been in Oz for the past month and checking out as many breweries and scavenging the streets for new and obscure labels that I can't get in the states.

I am very happy to say that HopDog Beer Works, Nowra, NSW has been the most hospitable, genuine beer nerd enthusiasts and fantastic beer. Tim and Tess gave a great showing of thier small start up brewery and provided plenty of samples. I took home a few bottles of Redhopulous, a full growler of Children of Darkness, and was given an "experimental IPA".....which was epic! Very highly recommend the drive down to Nowra and make a visit!!!!
