    Three other people.

And I actually started documenting my adventures with beers for the outdoors. http://craftbeersummits.tumblr.com

Really, Ska is great for this. If you want bang for the buck, Ten Fidy is great if you still have some, otherwise Old Chub.

That's a great idea, love the pictures. Looks like we've done a lot of the same hikes/peaks around CO. I have a few trip logs up on my site and recently have been doing a beer review section on each trip log: http://alexwicks.com.

I need to start adding more of my summit hikes there as well, as I do quite a lot of them.

I'm not a huge spirits guy either, but if you're interested in them, give the Leopold Bros. stuff a try. They have a couple whiskey variations that are cut with fruit and their "normal" small batch whiskey isn't as strong as most other whiskies you'll encounter. The prices aren't bad either.

Wow no joke, we have hit a bunch of the same ones. I still really want to do Longs and have heard great things.

And yeah - the summits always make for the best pictures it seems. The whole thing started out as a challenge from my wife to climb a 14er with her. She had never done one and at the time I was crazy out of shape. I thought it would be awesome to drink a great beer with a big ABV at such a high elevation. Turns out I was right  It just always makes me sad when I get to a crowded summit and see people up there with Bud Light.

It always makes me sad when I see a crowded summit period! I was out of shape when I did my first 14er as well (Mount Massive), it actually beat me down so badly that I was determined to get in great shape and do it again. I've done about 20 now; favorite is still Long's Peak, I highly recommend it.

I drank an Old Chub on top of Long's... I highly recommend that as well
