I bought three singles and I have two let so I'm definitely going to age them. I might even take the suggestion on the bottle and bury one in a plastic bag for a year. I guess one reason I like it so much (my other favorites were already mentioned on here) is I prefer English barleywines to American ones. Cheers.

Southern tier Back burner. I think its is where barleywines start an then vary away from that. I love that stuff

I'm curious about the Flying Mouflan. How'd you compare it to the Old Guardain & Sucaba?

I honestly LOVE BA Bigoot. It is my favorite Barleywine. I collect as many bottles as i can get my hands on. Im kinda curious to see what it turns into with some age on it.

Schell's Stag barleywine is still around and not that hard to find.
A very nice fresh barleywine. Great hop flavors.

So, I opened another one. The hops have faded more into the background, and the maple sweetness is back with a vengeance. This beer hasn't hit the sweet spot yet, it's actually drinking a tad too sweet right now for my tastes. Still not much bourbon coming through, but I really like this beer a lot.

    Hog Heaven.

I would only drink this one fresh. It's mighty tasty when had fresh but after a while it drops off pretty hard (still very tasty, just not what you'd expect a BW to be).
