FUN series is awesome! I am glad they are moving away from the base Hellfighter for some of the new ones (009 is Barn Burner base, awesome). Sentiments

I'll be tracking Upright down when I make a trip to Oregon in the Spring. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I mean I haven't had as many Oregon beers as I would like, but from what I have had, I'll take Cascade over everything. Essentially one style, but done so damn well. Since I moved much closer and have family there, I plan to go at least twice a year from here on out. Love Portland!

Hit up Breakside, too. I went to a sour event around xmas at Green Dragon there and all of the Breakside sours were legit.

Edit: I might be thinking of Burnside...will research...

Double edit: No, it was Breakside.

Grimm Brothers might be small, but I live 10 minutes from them so that has far less of an effect on me than most fortunately.

Never tried any of the barrel aged offers you mention from Dry Dock or Bull & Bush. I am still waiting for B&B's bottles to make it up to Fort Collins. Not holding my breathe at this point, but would love to be able conveniently grab a bottle of Man Beer to bring home, or to finally try that ESB.

I need to try some Three Brothers. I've heard good things about Resolute.

I would totally agree. I had it on tap one weekend when I was back home and it was up there with any of the BABW's I've had. King Henry, BCBBW and Cognac Church on a Hill being the gold standards but it was right up there with Sucaba IMO.

I pick Avery because they do more styles.

I guess that's fair, but CS puts out more barreled beers more often since it's what they focus on. They are all pretty kick ass too!

Agree 100%. I actually think it's as good as the BCBW. I wish more people got to try this gem.

Pretty good. Giant Eagle has a ton of their stuff, but I rarely see the barrel aged beers.
