I generally agree with this, although I'd slot in Dark Horse in in lieu of The Livery or possibly as 1f -- ahead of Arcadia, in any event -- on the strength of BBPT5 alone (to say nothing of BBM29 and some others; although, like FFF, they have some flops too).

Third vote for Jester King in Texas.

If Freetail expands theirs, there might be some healthy competition.

Close race between Cigar City and Cycle Brewing for Florida. Both make some stellar BA beers.

Can't forget some of the awesome barrel aged beers from Kuhnhenn as well. Also Oddsides has a growing number of barrel aged beers. Plus there is Dark Horse that has to be in the discussion because of barrel aged plead the 5th alone. Have to love all of the great barrel aged beers from Michigan. :grinning:

I'd say Voodoo and Weyerbacher in Pa. I'm sure there's others.

Blue Mountain Barrel House SHOULD be the tops in the state as they've made a big investment in it but I've found most of their BA beers to be slightly underwhelming. Their Dark Hollow is always excellent on draft at the brewery but bottles have been very inconsistent. It's a shame because Blue Mountain does so many other styles so well.

You didn't put a period at the end of your sentence. Did you mean to close with "and I won't be holding my breath?"

HA! I know, but ya know, what do you do with a team that makes the playoffs every year even if there's only one superstar and a bunch of hacks? They're the LeBron-era Cavaliers.

Against the Grain in Kentucky but the competition is pretty limited compared to other states. However, their Bo & Luke, 70K, and 5 Roses series would make them formidable most places.

    Bur
Burnt Hickory is setting the bar high in ATL along with Wrecking Bar. Monday Night BBA Drafty Kilt is a great beer as well and may mark the start of a barrel program for them. I can't understand why Terrapin or Sweetwater haven't done much in this regard. I'd personally love try a barrel aged Wake n Bake or Moohoo.

Beard Envy...almost forgot bout Red Brick! Tasty Stuff.

Tyranena has more variety and availability on their stuff, but I still think the quality from CW is better.

I'll give a slight edge to Upland because of their Bourbon Barrel Winter Warmer. Yes I am local, but Upland has distributed reasonably priced bombers of the BBWW for years now and this year's is tastier than ever. FFF barrel-aged beers are harder to come by and they don't really do sours.

That's funny, hibernation was the last BA release and yeti should have been the next. That's old beer you're sipping on my friend.
And I do think a lot of out of staters will rattle their sabres for Crooked Stave, homers will probably jock Avery. Momi Hiwa, ross's's mélange, odio equum just to name a few never left the state.
