Best beer ever put in them barrels...

    Just curious what all of your favorite barrel aged beers are. Out of what I have had so far mine is Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Barleywine. My favorite stout is CW Peruvian Morning. The only "big hitter" I have had is KBS. How bout y'all?

    kbs, abacus, and parabola are some favorites of mine. I want to mention weyerbacher for both their insanity and heresy. They are not top of their respective styles but the levels of improvement from the base beers blows my mind, especially in the case of blithering idiot --> insanity.

    I absolutely love Abacus/Sucaba. It's probably a toss up between that and KBS for me. It sounds cliche but they are both just too good.

    The Abyss. Not that it's necessarily a breakthrough in barrel aging, but because of how masterfully its blended - especially the last release. Hot diggity!
